Horn

This original piece of art was created with a pen on paper in the pointillism style. This series of drawings was made every week of the year in 2020 as a part of a community art challenge. All original drawings in this series are numbered 1-52 representing the week that they were created that year. 

This drawing style is known as pointillism or stippling. It consists of only dots on paper made with an ultra-fine .003 millimeter felt tipped pen. The idea is simple. The higher density of dots in an area appears daker in the artwork. Same goes the other way, the less dots the lighter something may appear. This meditative way of drawing can be time consuming but when you step back and all of the dots disappear everything is worth it.
